About Patrick Kurtz

Patrick Kurtz is a Private Investigator, Criminalist, Writer, Professional Reader and Editor.


He studied psychology, comparative literature and German language and literature at the Universities of Leipzig, Marburg and Hagen. In 2012 he published the memoirs of the late Scottish Detective Inspector Aidan Johnstone under the title of Livingstones Mahnung as well as the scholarly work Of Ovid, Grass and Tintagel Castle.


Out of interest and natural ability for combination, deduction and analysis he did an apprenticeship as Private Detective and, since  then, investigates commercially as certified specialist.


He owns numerous qualifications, including the security industry licence, certified weaponry expertise, advanced cardiac life support, intervention force and more. 


Patrick Kurtz is frequently consulted as an expert for private investigations, e.g. by radio stations like NPR Berlin (American), WDR Radio, MDR Radio and Antenne Münster, by TV stations like Sat.1, RTL, MDR Fernsehen and Sat.1 NRW, by newspapers like BILD, Spiegel, IHK-Magazin, VICE Magazine, LVZ, Dresdner Morgenpost and MZ, and even by the educational establishments like the University of Potsdam or the Sicherheitsakademie Berlin and also as"maxperte™" for the online streaming service "maxdome".
